During his 30 year career as a practicing physician, Dr. Gerber identified the need to prevent and to treat antibiotic-resistant infections by using an alternative to traditional antibiotics. He developed and patented a better and smarter way to reduce surgical site and chronic wound infections through the use of a phototherapy platform.
